I wanted to comment on Fresno suspending their operations. It is always tough as a player to see a team shut down due to financial reasons. You see 23 colleagues lose their jobs which is always concerning as we are part of the same union. The PHPA (Professional Hockey Players Association). Instead of dwell on the negative I would like to touch on the positive. I would like to thank you the fans. The folks that come out and spend your well earned dollars to let us entertain you. We all understand that times are tough in the economy right now and really appreciate your support. If not for all you fine folks and your support there would be no minor league sports like us and no jobs for players like myself to fill. Thanks again for letting us be part of your lives and letting us chase these childhood dreams.
