With just over a month until the opening of camp, the Boise Burn will be heading south as they look to fill their 35 man roster for the upcoming 2009 season. Burn head coach Brent Winter has announced that he will be running two open tryouts next month in Southern California. Winter will hold the first tryout on Saturday, February 7th at Jackie Robinson Field in Pasadena and the second tryout on Sunday February 8th at Patriot Field in Perris. Both tryouts will be held from 8am-12pm and there will be a $50 fee at the time of registration ($40 for pre-registration). The Burn will host its West Division rival and defending National Conference Champion Spokane Shock for its home opener on Saturday, Apr. 18 at Qwest Arena. Season tickets are currently on sale.
