Phoenix, AZ - The Steelheads (1-1-1) fell on the road against the Phoenix RoadRunners (3-2-0) by a score of 2-1 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ in front of a crowd of 3,103. The first period was similar to the first period in Wednesday night?s contest between these two clubs; it resulted in a 1-0 RoadRunners lead. The scoring was opened by Kimbi Daniels, who netted his 3rd of the season, at the 3:27 mark. Assists went to Brett Thurston and T.J. Campbell. The RoadRunners held the Steelheads to four shots on goal in period number one. However, Peder Skinner roofed a wrister on Steelheads goaltender Rejean Beauchemin at 12:06 of the third period on the power play. The goal proved to be the eventual game-winner.
